The involvement of the civil society in Tanzania in the review process as well as in the drafting of the successor strategy is of paramount importance so that all relevant stakeholders collectively can support and shape both processes.

CSOs in particular are preparing to engage in the process and are currently finalising an action plan which will guide their work. A coordinating committee with representatives from national as well as international NGOs meet on a regular basis to discuss progress and guide the CSO involvement.
